What a movie!

The other day I was so bored...I was sick and on top of that really bored.  DH had taken the girls out to let me rest, but I cant find myself without my family with me.  So I decided to rent a movie on demand.  I had heard this movie had won an award at the Sun Film Festivals (I think thats the one)  I love Harry Potter and I really believe that Daniel Radcliffe can expand to more than just the Harry Potter character (even though the resemblence from the illistrations is so on target!).  So I rented December Boys.  Let me tell you, if you are a person who doesnt like to see your favorite child star grow up...DONT WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!  There is nothing bad in it...some adult conotations that really only adults understand, but all in all its a great movie.  The plot of the story is there are 4 boys who live in an orphanage together.  Because of their birthdays in the same month of December, they are called The December Boys.  There four boys are invited to a home to spend sometime with an elderly couple who are very Catholic based.  Later on the boys find out that a couple next door is looking and thinking about adopting one of them and their freindship, their brotherhood is threatened...nearly torn apart to the threads.  Daniels character,is the oldest and he meets a new girl, and they have an infatuation between each other.  However the girl breaks his heart and he starts to turn cold and bitter and very protective of his younger "brothers".  The movie ends very well...really beautiful and I absolutley love it!  I really recomend it and I do say you might not want your children to watch if you are uncomfortable with sexual contations, all in all...it is an A+ movie!

I have also read and heard that Harry Potter "The Half Blood Prince" is in Production.  If you love Daniel Radcliff he is supposedly going to come to New York's Broadway for the production of Equus.  I dont remember when but Im sure if you live in NY...you will find out.  I personally dont care to see it,but I am looking forward to The "Half Blood Prince". 

I am in LOVE!!!

  Is it possible to fall in love with a movie about missunderstanding, full of judgment, but you fall in love?  Well I think so.  I am in love....with Pride & Prejudice, Keira Knighly and Mathew McFayden are wonderful in this movie.  I love how they interact with each other making me believe that I am watching their lives intertwin and mesh together in the end.  It was put together so beautifully and I cant get enough out of it.  The music is wonderful, I close my eyes and I can picture myself playing it!  I know it came out about 2 years ago but I just found it.  I accidentally watched it with DH as it showed on HBO.  He was surprised himself as to how good the movie was!  Then  I went with him to Best Buy to look for a different movie and as Im checking out...I see Pride & Prejudice on the check out stand!  It was fate!!!  I bought it, I converted it so I can carry it on my PSP!  I have watched it on my t.v, on my lapttop on my way out of town with Martin...so far I have seen it over 2 dozen times, sometimes as often as 3 times a day.  I love that movie.  Ok thats enough...just thought youd want to know!

Freedom Writers

I have not seen a move that I have loved so much in a long time...and that it was based on a true story.  Today was like most days, it was to hot to go outside so I rented Freedom Writers.  Now this is a good family movie.  If you rent this, make sure you have nothing esle going on.  Do not cook, do not read, do not go onto your computer to surf he web. DO make sure you are with your kids and that you are prepaired to answer many questionon racial tension, gang violence and how people live their lives in other Big Cities.  It is a great way to teach children that there is violence not only across the ocean but in our own backyards.  The American child is also being turned into something they should not be.  This is a great movie to talk about how a person is far beyond the color of their skin, the country they represent and that everyone...EVERYONE has greatness in them, it just needs to be harnessed.  It is a great movie, I was crying and so was my 9 year old.  Watch the movie and I want you to post your thoughts on this movie here!  I give this movie 5 stars!!!
